5-second Model Context Protocol readiness smoke tester and tool contract scanner.

The Problem

When configuring local MCP servers or integrating third-party tool bundles, debugging startup failures is painful:

Servers hang on stdio without sending proper initialization responses.
Tool schemas contain missing parameters or malformed types that cause Claude Desktop or Cursor to reject the server silently.
Engineers have to write custom JSON-RPC harness scripts just to verify if an MCP server runs.

The Solution

genesis-mcp-quick-readiness-scan executes a 5-second smoke test over stdio. It completes the MCP JSON-RPC handshake (initialize), retrieves registered tools (tools/list), audits input schema definitions, and provides instant exit code status.
